Who killed summer?

"I feared worse, but now I have Tonight's parties on repeat."

Hey you!
The prison was opened for partying once again last weekend. There were tall fires started all around the coast of Estonia as a part of a pagan holiday. We played a hot set with Redlip on the prison beach. There were people in the Dj shack with us drinking vodka and asking to mix on the traktor S4. Other people were asking for Phil Collins or jungle. We freely interpreted those requests.

Another holiday involving a huge fire.

The part of the night we didn't play we spent with good friends. Getting sand in our shoes and tasty drinks inside us. Didn't have a place to crash so I just pulled an allnighter on the beach with the chosen few. Suggest a place for me to crash after my next gig in the shouts, below. Suggest gigs as well.

There's something about prisons that makes you want to escape.

Hours later, we greeted the Japanese sunrise at the beach - the big red sun rising from the sea. I seized the opportunity and played a short live including singing "Urge to follow" without a mic. Another couple of hours later we went sun tanning on the prisoner cages. The last tanning opportunity this year. The prison is a really magical place and I recommend going there. We had a private tour and it was awesome. As it turned out I was the only one who hadn't been jailed. We left at 4pm next day, when the prison was full of visitors and the old ladies had arrived to work.

Me and Mati made it through the night and we almost went for a swim in the morning.

The video shoot continues. We made a rough cut and found the parts we need to reshoot or recut so there's still work left to be done. Luckily the shoots amuse us and it's refreshing to work in another medium. More on the video and the shoot as we complete it. We just have to fix the beginning and the end, the middle part is done.

Meanwhile the autumn comes with an important event. Eclectica festival starts tomorrow. Eclectica has played an important roll in my creative development as it has introduced me to electronic music,  interdisciplinary shows and I've played some priceless shows there. I'm excited to see what the festival brings this year. Robin Guthrie a champ of hypnotic guitarpop and the founder of Cocteau Twins will play tomorrow. The show starts at 7pm. I'll be there and we'll probably go shooting afterwards. I'll keep you posted.

See you there!

Police assisted shoot...

"Next one will do it. It's police! I'm still going to ask them."
Hey you!
We're playing a B2B electro set with Redlip tonight at Patarei. Yes, it's back to the prison for us and we're going to make you dance until your feet hurt. With Don rimini, A1 Bassline, Pnau and Bobmo in the playlist.

We've been shooting a music video. It's about a wild girl going out for a night and all the crazy adventures that happen in the night. We're almost through with shooting. We will still shoot a scene that require sexy girls. Only your below the waste part has to be sexy. Contact us asap if you want to be in the video. Along the shooting loads of crazy stuff has happened.

The girl dancing on the white line.

The best part was when we didn't have enough light for a hooligan scene. So we were going to stop the next  car and make them light our set. As our actress stopped the next car, it turned out to be a police van. She asked them anyway. They agreed to light the scene and even turned on extra searchlights. We got good footage for that scene. By far the best experience I've had with the police.

A private solo moment

A thanks goes to Redlip for her camerawork, our actress for doing everything we told her to, all the people cheering for us during the street make-out scene and the drunk guy who fell over just so we could get it on tape. We will start editing soon and I'll keep you posted on the progress. Meanwhile come party with us tonight and find me to take a photo for Fluon together.

See you soon.

Party must go on!

"I saw your circuit bending feature back when I was in Denmark"
Hey you!
I'll keep it short and tell you about how we played twister on the street some other time. Here are more photos from Patareiv. We are going back there soon to play a back to back electro set with Redlip as Fluon. If you have requests then leave a shout here. More on the event on facebook. Take a moment to enjoy this video from Patareiv. It has me singing on "Urge to follow", remix of "Edgar Savisaar" and new tracks>>

I've been drinking lots of coffee and taking nights to complete some of the tracks. I've been searching for the direction to go towards. Either Calvin Harris type softer electro dance  ("Pick up track") or Huoratron and Proxy kind heavy trash Electro ("For play Ep"). I've reached something in between comparable to Tiga's "What you need". Heavy trashy bass with a popish high end on top, a rich dessert to be enjoyed. I'll play some of them in the Fluon set.

As you read our blog, make sure to join the newsletter. You will get the info about upcoming events, exhibitions, sweet tracks plus an occasional free entry to a show. So go to the box on the right and enter your email to join us.

Patareiv - Prison rave.

"I saw your live 3 years ago. Me and a couple people enjoyed it, but I'm not so sure about the others."
Hey you!
Patareiv was one of the funnest parties in a while. Mixing good music, friends and tasty drinks produced special moments.

Happy for her new "Blo me" shirt.

The party started at  6 but most of the people didn't show up before midnight. I was playing to a crowd by then. Four stages altogether and our stage was built on an ancient soviet truck. It was very suitable for heavy machinery bass. There were also stages for techno, house and psy trance/dubstep.

My set was heavy. I didn't play any old harder and faster tracks except for "Windshield pfeiffer" as the encore (even despite that one girl on the right shouting she didn't want to hear another one). I sang on the "Pick up track" and "Urge to follow". The rock soundguy provided me tips for the vocals. Some true fans were really rocking it to "I dig dirt" and other wild bass ones. There was also a guy shouting for something mellow and my dear kid sister. I changed from my Punisher shirt to my "Blo Me" shirt during playing. A girl dancing in the front row threw me candy, a carambar with a weird joke. I threw my shirt to her, as the crowd was shouting: "Give it to her! Give it to her!". Congrats to all the proud owners of a "Blo me" shirt. The shirts have now been sold out.

Thanks to everyone for listening and dancing. I hope to meet you again soon and in the meanwhile we'll stay in touch on facebook and of course here on Fluon. Remember to download my tracks from the player up there on the right.>>

I loved the set by Anthelia. It was heavy and gabberish, but with housish chords like "Benny Rodrigues - Rotterdam". I also liked Rhythm Doctor, Talvik and Marek Poel. I send my regards to Redlip (Fluon crew) whose Traktor controller didn't work anymore when it was time to play. I hope it will resurrect. She was recording my live show so you might see my show even if you missed it at Patareiv.

Lone techno dancer in the beginning of the night.

We kept dancing until the dawn and were blessed with a fresh dance move - "shark jaws". I'm sure you can imagine how to move your hands to imitate a shark. It goes into the vault with such classic moves like Chernobyl child plays ping pong and "lost in the woods (bewildered eyes)".

Extreme prison planking.

The night ended with rescuing a stray guy from on top of a big pipe. At first it looked like extreme planking, but then he explained that he had wanted to stage a prison break. He got tangled in barbed wire and couldn't get down anymore. With our guidance, he climbed down in no time and left for home. The photo was awesome, but the guy contacted me and asked me to remove it. Now it's up to you to fill the gap with your granny or whoever you would like to see planking there.

Sunshine underground.

We continued partying until 10 in the morning. We escorted Alver to get his photos developed and had a breakfast in old town. Then I went to get my well deserved two hour power nap. I hope your weekend was something as good (at Flow festival for example).
See you soon!

Prison and a deserted island

"I was there, when he used to play to empty clubs, now he's playing the biggest festivals."
Hey you!
I'm playing at Patareiv this Friday. Get warmed up with the tracks from the player on the right and download them for your iPods>>>

We went on a spontaneous holiday to a deserted island. I got a call saying that I have 15 minutes to decide if I want to go. I hesitated for a second, but decided I was go. Another half an hour for packing everything and then we were ready to ride the beast in to the wilderness. The beast is a big Nissan Patrol.

There were three of us. Me, Robodada labelhead and a blonde. The beast cut it's way through the country. 6 hours later we had reached the coast. The place we wanted to go to was gated and it was 1am and too dark to do anything. So we set camp on the seashore. The wind and rain kept ravaging the tent all night long and I dreamt that naked neighbors were coming to our camp.

A deserted soviet coast guard tower.

Next morning the weather had improved somewhat and it seemed we had a chance, so we crossed the sea. Everything we were wearing got wet because the waves were so big.  It was a surfers dream. As we had set up the tent again, hung the clothes to dry and began a fire, it started raining again. So we took a break with wine and stories in our tent. Soon the rain stopped and the sun came out again. The fire was still burning and we roasted meat over the hot coals. The blonde was a vegetarian.

The view from the tent.

We woke up in a sauna, as the sun was hot and high. We had a new friend, a lone seal was stalking us from the sea. His head kept resurfacing for hours, always nearby. The sky was clear and it was the perfect time to work on my tan.  We ate a watermelon and turned what food we had left into a soup. As soon we had no water or food left we packed up and shipped out. This time we stayed dry. Pancakes and coffee for lunch at a indian fish restaurant in the city. We were joined by Kinkymint who had to hurry to a sushi place while we headed back to Tallinn.

"I haven't been on facebook for two days". Browsing around the campfire.

Thanks for choosing to read my blog, leave a comment and join us on facebook. See you soon at Patareiv in Tallinn!
